Need some AoA subsurface help

Okay, here is the deal. I've managed to port over V6 Belle's AoA Subsurface settings over to V5 Bree. Now, I'm not too good with subsurface and I sort of like the way AoA looks, but it makes my character look like she has more of a tan than I'd like. I've messed with some of the settings and really can't find anything that changes that. The first picture is good ol' Ubersurface, standard Bree, while the second is that Bree with Belle's settings. Any ideas?

I find that I can tweak the color tone using the subsurface color. I stick to the natural skin tones, but I can create a more natural tan color there. Plus you can adjust the velvet color (although you should keep it lighter than the subsurface color imho).
try not to adjust using the diffuse color... it comes out weird and flat. Leave it at a pale pale aqua/blue.
Thanks, I'll mess them around. I'm attempting to remove the tanned look... or decrease it at least. I'll let you know what I come up with.
to remove overly colored shaders... knock the subsurface color down to white, leave the velvet alone, and make sure the dffuse is is pale pale blue/aqua.
