The Art of Dance Bundle no Tights

Beautiful buy thanks Littleladyfox and runtimeDna, great fun to play with but sadly there where no tights, lots of colours to choose from with the tights but not in the package at all and I searched through all the bundles. I bought the lot when it was on offer, still no tights, shoes, tutu, leotards, legwarmers [sadly they don't have a way of pulling them down no matter] I just wondered if any one had the tights in another buy, or if they knew where I could purchase them. There are tights for genesis, and I don't know whether V4 has generic tights or whether I could cobble them together from Body Suit, but I just wondered if any one had any ideas please.

It looks to me like the "tights" are just a material that's applied to the legs of the figure.

  • I thought so but when you look at other peoples creations like the Minuet, they show the stockings but there is no CR2 or PP2 I wonder if it is the V4 body suit I will have to play around with that and see if it fits xxx

Like thd77 says, they are a "seond skin" material applied to V4 hips, legs and feet - this comes with the Toe Shoes part of the set.

There is a set of material poses under Libraries - Pose/ - Ballet V4 for a black, cream, grey, pink or white stocking effect. But these will probably not work on a recent figure unless you have the V4 UVset  for that figure installed.

ETA: I looked at the actual .dsa file and see that it just sets the diffuse colour to that of your desire (black, white, pink, etc) and applies a map to the bump setting: /Runtime/textures/Littlefox/BalletV4/LLF-StockingSparkles.jpg
You should be able to create the same effect yourself on any figure by selecting the appropriate body surfaces and replacing the diffuse skin texture with a solid colour and applying the bump map. If you are using Iray, you might just be able to set these into Diffuse Overlay to get a sheer effect over the existing skin textures, if you like.

Those toe shoes autofit beautifully to G8. There might be a little bit of poke through on the sole, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was from the folded and pleated surfce of the outer shoe.

  • Thank you very much everyone for taking the time to look at this set, and see what the problem was, is, I have bookmarked this thread so I can look at your instructions and try what you suggested. xxx Andrea
