Ragerator can make any clothing item look tattered and torn

and you can get it part of a bundle called Hybrid grunge, which adds dirt, blood and tears to clothes

there's a version for Poser too.
Smay's Mr Hyde for Genesis comes with some ripped jeans:

If you also get his Bad Guy:

There are download links on his site (http://www.smay3d.com/) for worn and dirty textures for the vest in that set.
CHEERS!
There is a nice transmap in this interactive lesson: http://www.daz3d.com/interactive-lessons/inside-the-asylum-bundle
Long Time Dead includes both zombie and zombie clothing.
If your zombies are more into historical styles, try Shipwrecked textures for the Pirate and Piratess outfits.
EvilInnocence has some torn clothing for various figures:

I've used the Evilinnocence torn shirt before. The rips look good, but the cloth texture itself is a little lacking in detail. Was going to try to re-texture that at some point ... in my other spare time.
The ragerator (left) 'http://www.daz3d.com/rag-erator-for-daz-studio can work to make anything raggedy
zombie on right, Mr. hyde pants as mentioned earlier in the thread
Something Ive always done with zombie characters is use Ubersurface 2 shader on them and the clothing. It allows layering, and helps make them filthy and tatty in a short amount of time without having to go in and modify textures in an image editor. US2 has some neat presets, its quite handy :) I used allot of the dust preset, but opacity could also be utilized as well, with some modification.
