These look great but seem to be in sketchup format. How can these be used in DS?

I think there's a convert-to-obj utility somewhere in the online Sketchup archives. IIRC it has to be exported from inside the Sketchup program itself.

I turned off my adblocking stuff, but still can't load this site. No idea why, when I've used it before.

Sketchup. It's a different modeling program.

You still must convert the skp file to obj or fbx.

If the site isn't loading for anyone wait and check back. There was a period in which the websites hosting server was under DDOS attack and loading the site was not possible. The site is there, and tons of freebies are still posted for your pleasure :)
