sounds good
Gratz!
Yes, congratulations on your new computer. Is this a huge upgrade from what you have now?!
For many years, I used Mac computers, and was really frustrated with my inability to handle iRay, etc. Now, I have a powerful PC, and can handle anything I throw at it.
going from single processor (i3-3.3ghz, 8gb ram) with no GPU to the above.YEARS better. saved up several years. only had to put $300 on the card, the rest was paid in cash.
enjoy. its so cool to see renders in minutes instead of hours. Well, some are still hours, but not overwhelming hours
Always fun to gift one's self.
I seriously doubt that. I just think your rendertime stays the same. You're just going to venture into more sophisticated scenes pushing the limits of your new rig. At least that's what we hope...
probably right... Right now I can't use dforce or more than 1 g8 figure... but this weekend, oh boy!
I used to gift myself a lot more, but that pesky restaining order...
