Deepsea Egyptian Ancient Temple without colors?

@deapsea - Aren't the ancient temples colorful in ancient times? Is there planned a colored version of this?

Was thinking the same thing. It's a lot of work though, maybe there will be a texture pack.
Also it's not a true temple layout as it seems to be a mirrored entrance on both sides.
Still, impressive work from Deepsea, model seems to be very finely sculpted.
YES! REALLY great work! Indeed. Colored Version would be fantastic!
Also, all the Greek temples were very colourful. With really bright, shining colours. Not the white marble we see now... But most people will be "irritated" if someone comes up with a coloured version, I suppose.
well .... I guess the buildings were old in their time (lol), or in the artist's mind we should be satisfied with contemporary ruins, but then again, the promos show Pharaoh carousing around in his chariot, so the depiction is supposedly what things looked like back then, ... but, but .... the buildings have no colors, so there is a problem regarding the authenticty. For ruins OK, for 2000 BC, not what it looked like.
Maybe one PS crazy artist here would like to do a colored version of the textures...? ;-)
Here is a quick description of the colors they used for what: http://egyptianhieroglyphics.net/ancient-egyptian-hieroglyphics/what-color-were-hieroglyphics/
Already in the works ..... and more =)
I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who had that reaction. It's a spectacular piece of modeling work, but it definitely needs color.
Of course, @Mark_e593e0a5's point about the Greek temples being similarly colorful (that is to say, garish -- the ancient Greeks really didn't believe in a tastefully restrained palette) is true too. But it's maybe more obvious in the case of an Egyptian temple: few people have seen Greek statuary as anything but unpainted marble, whereas everyone has probably seen pictures of Egyptian temples with at least traces of pigment on the decorations.
Thx man. The lack of color is why I didn't buy this package.
Is there any news on this? I have been waiting eagerly every day since I bought this when It was released, is there a coloured textures version comming? I would love it so much, I love the current textures also, but I would prefer colurs. And another thing: the scale of this set is so huge, I want my character to be clearly seen, so not so zoomed out camera, and I also want the amazing scenery models to be seen, and for that I need to scale them down. But then there is a problem: it's meant to be huge scale so you can see the individual blocks that builds up that statues, that makes less sense in smaller scale. So I would love colured textures without those block edges
