Exporting LAMH Big Cat to use in Vue

First of all, my apologies if this has been asked and answered before, but I cannot find any answers through the forum's search function or through Google.
I'm looking to export the DAZ Big Cat 2 with its Look At My Hair fur from DAZ Studio and import it into Vue. I would like to do this for other figures that have the LAMH preset but for now, so I am hoping the process will be the same for all of them.
I have DAZ Studio 4.6.3.52, and Look At My Hair is the current build available for download, and my version of Vue is Vue Complete 2014.
I have tried exporting the Big Cat from DS, posed and with the LAMH applied as a .obj with the materials and he loads into Vue just fine (well, the materials on his nose and claws need a bit of adjusting because they look metallic) but the Big Cat only has the standard materials - not the LAMH preset. I have also tried exporting as COLLADA .dae and I get the same result: standard materials and the big cat and no LAMH preset.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you need to save the fur as an obj
it is a very big file
bring up the LAMH tab under windows in DS and chose the obj export option
adding thickness to roots and tips usually needed
I have to then reimport that obj and apply the texture map generated for it by LAMH it is usually saved in Documents Daz3D studio LAMH presets Geometry
import at Daz studio scale
it will be posed in position cat was at export.
I do not have Vue so no idea how it handles the size of the file
I have to massively reduce hair number decimate it myself for my prefered programs
You will need to use LaMH to export the fur as OBJ first, then use that on the cat and export the whole lot to Vue. LaMH uses 3Delight render curves, which are not supported in Vue.
I did the male lion and ended up with a 6GB model which vue 2014 Infinite could not load. 16GB Ram was not enough. maybe short hair critters who knows.
lol yes indeed
hence reducing hair number and adding thickness
I go to 1000 root 500 tip and reduce by a factor of 100 decimal points
I opened the LAMH tab under the Windows menu, and clicked the "to OBJ" button at the bottom of the window, and clicked OK to export, but then it comes up with an error message saying Tiger LAMH Group already exists. And there does not appear to be anyway to change the location of where to export, or even changing the filename.
I go ahead anyway and no there is no option but it does not overwrite anything just creates an obj and texture in that locatio
you can move that one and save it if you want to do another
Good to know it isn't going to overwriting anything. Just going to do the export now....
EDIT:
I have created the .obj file (1.86GB), reimported it back into DS and I have reapplied the texture map for it.
How do I export both the fur .obj and the tiger .obj to be used in Vue? Or do they need to be exported separately, and imported into Vue one at a time and positioned together inside Vue?
