Getting my content away from the C: drive...

I had a complete train wreck crash in windows 10, and need to reinstall everythinf.
I want to be sure that my Daz content is NOT on the C: drive, which is a small but fast SSD.
I installed the main program to a different drive, but I did not spot the option to set the content drive when Daz Studio was installed by Daz Central. I found the content directory manager, but I don't understand how to direct everything to a bigger drive. Can someone point me at a more detailed explanation please?

you need to change the default library path from daz central.. I don't use it but the FAQ in https://www.daz3d.com/dazcentral say:
OK, that seems to have worked after trying it with one install, thank you!
Next question...
Is there a quick way to select and install everything, as with the old install manager?
Or do I have to click each asset in turn?
Uninstall everything including Central. Go to your Product Library and select just about any product. At the bottom of the product page will be a link to downlooad DIM. Install DIM and run it in Offline mode the first time so you can set the preferences (click the cog icon) to your liking.
uhm.. as I said I don't use Central but I remeber reading someone reporting that as an issue.. but it was some time ago, maybe in the meantime they added that option somewhere..
if not it would be quickly to go to your browser, account, orders and click the green Download & Install for each full order
It really shouldn't be on C; put it on a different drive, back up the settings in Roaming/Daz/... and recovery after a re-install is simple. Oh and also back up where DIM installation files, although I moved mine to another folder too. You might also want to export the Registry Settings too, which is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DAZ\Studio4PublicBuild
Once you've navigated to that in the Registry, right click on the folder and export.
Warning: be careful when messing about in the registery.
I am having a mare with this & I think you have hit the nail on the head with this one I think my Registry keys are messed up hence why steam wont open for me :C I done everything I can putting Daz onto b:// drive yet still its downloading back up files to C:// drive what a mess!
I had this problem a couple of months ago then all of a sudden it worked had no problem but I did a clean install as I wanted to clean up my folders as it was making Daz laggy so many free objects hence I don't really know where I am installing folders half the time I been winging it I totally forgot about this problem and there is no way I can put stuff on my C:// drive not enough space at all I am at a loss I don't have the knowledge to go messing about with Registry keys and I know for a fact I will mess but saying that it seems m pc is a mess anyway it also explains maybe why when I try & use DevO skin builder that won't find torso etc etc & having errors.
