Data folder

I have a question in regards to the data folder.
I bought * from another store * a product that has only an Environment folder and a Runtime folder.
The product works just fine.
It has 2 scene files which load the room and furniture, it has separate items and, all works.
I am confused about why it works without data folder.

It probably uses the default Daz primitives which are already incorporated in the data folder.
It could also be Poser format.
There are no default primitives. Studio generates them when you use the Create Primitive option.
When you build a scene from OBJ or Poser content then save it as a scene, DS writes the mesh info into the data/auto_adapted folder, however it also writes the pathways to the original imported mesh into the scene DUF file. That way if it can't find the DSF files in the data auto_adapted folder, it will regenerate those DSF files directly from the OBJ pathways in the DUF file, if it can find them.
Same thing happens with the default primitives.
So you either have a bunch of OBJ in that Runtime folder, or it's all built out of the default primitives.
No, while imported Poser content still - as I recall - generates entries in the data folder imported geoemtry, without rigging etc., is embedded in the Scene file.
