The Girl 4/6 question

Will Clothing made for The Girl 4 work with Girl 6? Namely the thick soled high heel boots.

    The short answer - not easily or perfectly. You're basically converting a V4 item (Girl 4 is a morph of V4) to Genesis 2 Female (Girl 6 is a morph of G2F) you can try to load it and the auto convert window will pop up, tell it Victoria 4 and see how it does. Shoes are particularly tricky to get to work automatically though.

    Since the size and shape should be sorta similar you could try loading the shoes and not conform/fit-to them to Girl 6, apply the same pose to them that you have on Girl 6, and then adjust the legs until they line up. V4's feet are angled down by default and G2F's are flat so you'll have to take that into account.

    Genesis 2 Female does not include a V4 Auto-Fit clone, the linked product is needed to add one to G2F.

    any boots in particular in mind?

    if i have em i'll give it a test.

    it depends how the boots were made, if parts of the mesh aren't welded iz where the difficulties begin.

    Thanks everyone. What I ended up doing was reparenting the thigh on the boots to the hip of the model. I had tried to just reparent the whole bone system to the model's bone system but it was causing orientation issues, etc.
    But for some reason I had to pose the model and the lower region separately. I'm going to get the item, so I can pose and animate it right.

    If anyone has any boots for sale on the marketplace, let me know. Also, I'm looking for a good pair of cleats for either M4 or a Genesis 2 male. If anyone can model some based on a turnaround drawing that I can provide, I am willing to pay. I saw the K4 football equipment, but the cleats for them aren't appealing for what I need them for.
