Create a dark sky with a yellow sun

I had a brief time with Daz couple of months ago, haven't had enough time since then but recently I cleared most of my schedule.
With extra time in my hands I want to recreate the image I attached; yellow-orange sun under a dark sky with a floor of water under the figure.
Any tip or input to the right direction is appreciate C:

You could use a primitive plane with a water shader for the flat water reflection effect (or you could even try a metal shader).

You could use a primitive sphere as the sun/moon behind her. Turn Emissive on (in the Surfaces Tab) and adjust the emissive settings and color until you get the brightness and color that you want.

Use Crush Blacks and Burn Highlights in the Render Settings >> Tone Mapping Tab to get the desired contrast that you like.

You could lower the Environment Intensity to make it a bit darker.

Turn on Bloom in Render Settings >> Filtering (you'll need to adjust it).

Other than that it will be some trial and error - make some adjustments, do a test render, rinse and repeat until you've found the look you're after.

Way easier to composite than to try to recreate in DS.  In the video, there's one kind of lighting on her, and another kind in the reflection.  I'd do one render of the background sun, which turns out fine with the bloom filter, and then another of the character and water.  Adjust colours for the character in post.  The ripples on the water would probably also be easier than in post if you want sharp reflections on ripples.

I was curious, so I fiddled around a bit.

Taking some of 3DDiva's & Sevrin's suggestions and changing them a bit I made a example scene that almost does what you what. The scene & what it looks like is attached here. It uses only the DAZ 3D Genesis 8 Starter Essentials so just replace what it uses with what you want to use. The main thing is I used a sparkly paint shader & changed the colors from the UberIRay Presets but you'll want to add a water caustics displacement map and reflection map so that the water surface in the scene isn't completely still. It you want to change the bloom you can do so as well.

There seems to be a bug in Dome & Scene in this scene for some weird reason so instead of using it I used Sun-Sky & a plane colored black as the sky. The rendering was making a fingerprint pattern on her face while in Dome & Scene, very strange. Of course using Sun - Sky means photometric lights don't work. I will have to ask in the forums or DAZ customer service what the Dome & Scene bug might be.

OK, if you take the EG Sun.duf scene I made and set the renderer to 'Scene Only' you can get the black water but it creates a thumbprint pattern on the G8F model, very weirdly.

    See attached render.
