I'm a big fan of the SF novel "Blindsight", by Canadian SF writer/biologist Peter Watts. Now, a team led by Danil Krivoruchko have made a four-and-a-half-minute movie inspired by the novel, using computer-generated imagery. No DAZ connection that I know of, but the imagery is pretty gorgeous (and very faithful to the novel), so you might get some inspiration from it. You can watch it for free online at blindsight.space.

If it seems confusing, it is. Just to make it more confusing, the film plays the events of the story in reverse order. As for the rest, well, "You'll just have to imagine you're Siri Keaton."

Just a little note: the novel itself is available for free on Perter Watts' own site. It is not an easy read space opera. Expect some difficult and unsettling concepts and implications, although for me at least it was quite a rewarding read.
