DAZ Shaders to Poser

Hi I am a poser user who wants to use some DAZ Shaders I downloaded for genesis 2 to poser. I have exported my genesis characters to poser already. I am aware that I could apply the shaders in DAZ Studio then export the model to poser with the shaders applied. But I want to be able to use my shader files in poser as to not going back and forth from DAZ to Poser. Is there any way to have my shaders in DAZ to be seen in my poser library?

Shaders don't cross between applications I'm afraid. If they are in .duf format and have Poser companion files you could try applying them in Poser, assuming you have the DSON Importer, but that wouldn't get you any advanced set up, just the basic maps (at best).

I do use a DSON Importer for my other DAZ content. Is there anyway I could create my own Poser companion files for these shaders?

Poser companion files are Poser format files which contain the stuff which doesn't convert well, which includes shader information. There is no way to directly convert a Daz shader to Poser format simply because the rendering engines work in very different ways.

If you're good enough with Poser's materials you can recreate the same effect, or something close to it. Sadly, there's no easy method here and it may be almost impossible to create an identical shader.
