Adding frames while animating

HI all,

I was creating an animation for a figure using a CR2 and OBJ file. All my animations work well except I misfigured the number of frames I would need. I added an extra 20 frames and quickly went through those, so I added more, but now I cannot animate past 120 frames. I have done much longer animations before, but I have never had to add frames at the end of an animation because I ran out. Is there any reason why I can't edit my figure? Is there anything i can do so I can animate the figure without starting over?

I did try a memorize figure pose, and restore figure pose, which didn't even make the frames a keyframe.

Thanks

    Are you sure you don't have the number of frames in "Range" set to less than the "Total" number of frames?

    Hi

    Check the number of frames that are set in the time line, I often find this resets, just change this, also if you add say 500 frames then when you reset this the bar at the bottom may not be fully open, so it only shows some of the time line

  • The total number of frames is 251 (I added extra thinking I could subtract) The range is from 100-200. FPS is 30. While I found a way to animate past frame 120, it isn't easy. I cannot click on the hand (or any other part) and get the arrows and rotation rings. I must first find the hand in the scene list and select it. I can then drag the arrows, or use the rings (or the peramaters in the parameters tab) but this is making the animation akward.

    When I play back the little bit of animation I did past frame 120, you can see the steps I took to get the body into a kneeling position, almost like each time I moved a part, it was recorded, yet I never switched frames. Extra keyframes aren't showing either as my keyframes are all at 10 seconds each.  I may just have to remake the animation.

    you need to highlight the whole frame number when typing in as it tends to not enter the first digit otherwise

    using backspace won't work

    and do the total before the range

    also saved scenes the range resets to 217 on reopening

    Rob tells us that this is caused by aniMate and is fixed in the current Public Build
