WTF? V4 Unified Bodysuit Problems

Ok, so I load a blank V4 into the scene, then de-select her. I load the V4 Unified Bodysuit into the scene and likewise de-select it. At this point, everything is fine and dandy, no problems.

Then I right click on the bodysuit and fit it to V4. Immediately, most of the Morphs that are part of the bodysuit disappear. I can show them by using the "Show Hidden Properties" command, but most don't function.

Injecting the various morph sets into V4 (Aiko, Girl, Morphs++, etc.) and using them there works fine, but they still don't show up on the bodysuit.

Does anyone know how to fix this so I can manually adjust the morphs on the bodysuit?

Edit to add: This is occurring in both DS 4.6.3.52 and Poser Pro 2014 10.0.3.26510 (SR 3.1)

This is how it's meant to work - if a morph in a fitted item matches a morph in the fitted-to figure it is hidden, on the assumption that it will be inheriting its values from the figure and would just be cluttering the interface. It is, as you've found, easy enough to get access if you do need to adjust the morph directly in the fitted item - they should function once shown, unless they have been set to their limit by the morph on the figure itself.

Generation 4 conforming clothing does not work like Genesis and G2 clothing. Best way to work with Poser is to load the base V4. Inject the morphs you want. If you are using S4 morphs, inject them. If you are using G4, inject them. Unless you absolutely need them all, don't inject the whole boatload of morphs into the base figure. This bloats the file needlessly.

After you have the figure's morphs injected, load the bodysuit. The bodysuit loads for V4 by default. You then need to inject the unimesh morphs into the base bodysuit. The unimesh morphs should show up in the parameters tab.

If they aren't showing up or aren't working in Poser, you may need to initialize the morphs or you could be running into a cross talk issue. If initializing doesn't fix the problem, try loading a null figure in between the V4 figure and the bodysuit. This breaks up the cross talk.

If you are still having the issue, you might want to try uninstalling and re-installing the bodysuit and it's unimesh add on.

I'm trying to use the Myrto body morph from the Anais set, but for some reason, the Unified Bodysuit refuses to conform correctly to the morph. I've checked what morphs are being used, and they're all part of the Morphs++ package, so the morphs are present in the suit. But when I conform the suit, I get a mess. The values shown in the second image are being applied to individual body parts listed in the Imported group, rather than the proper morphs in the Morphs++ group.

Never mind, figured it out. Anais has a unique morph that only shows up on individual body parts.

I was going to ask that - in which case right-clicking on the figure and choosing Transfer Active Morphs should help.

First thing I tried, but it didn't work.

Ok, been banging my head against all this all morning, here's what I've concluded:

DAZ Studio either is ignoring the DAZ and Community Injection Channels when Transfer Active Morphs is used, OR it is ignoring morphs that are defined as "targetGeom" instead of "valueParm".

I tested both Anais for V4A4 and Angel for V4, which both use a custom morph that is defined as "targetGeom" and are loaded in the DAZ Injection Channel, and in both cases, could not transfer the morph to either the Unified Body Suit OR the standard V4 Body Suit. Attempts to transfer the custom morphs to the V4 Basicwear bikini top and bottom also failed.

Poser behaves in the same fashion when the "Include morphs when conforming" option is ticked on the bodysuits and bikini.

Wardrobe Wizard requires the V4 add on from PhilC's store. Out of the box, the version included in Poser only supports figures in the included content.

Well, just tried the Copy From command in Poser, and nothing. The morph doesn't show up in the list. I am now convinced that both DAZ Studio and Poser are simply ignoring the Injection Channels category entirely. I tried some morphs transfers with a couple other morphs, Alice 5 for V4 and Blackhearted's GND4. Alice was successfully transferred, but GND4 failed. And guess where the GND4 Morph was located? Injection Channels category.
