Multiple arms without a body

I wanted to try and do a horror scene where someone is being pulled by multiple arms say from the shadows or a wall/pit full of arms reaching out trying to grab and pulling the character downward. I thought about having to load in a bunch of models and hide the figures but this doesn't seem very effecient and would probably cause a lot of lag or make the saved file huge. How do you go about this?

Sincerely

Jacob

  • ... or one could pose the various figures, one by one selecting each and send it over the bridge to Hexagon. Delete all of the mesh except the desired arm and hand ... rename it ... send it back over the bridge to D/S and make a prop with it.

OMG that demon hand is so cool lol, However I was looking for something more realistic at this time.

I've only used Daz so far, but say I did, would the hands still retain the bones and sliders to grasp, spread fingers etc...? Would you be able to still use finger nail materials and so on...?
