Thanks :) My first ones of the water were really bad until I changed the settings, but I leave those attempts visible so others can see what I did or (lol) didn't do. I'm similar to you in that I want to get busy using some of what I've got, and I think it really helped that I started on my book and realized I have more than what I need already. The shopping mall is on my wishlist though. Wanted to mention to folks to keep an eye out for the mannequins when they go on sale, they'll be perfect with those stores. (I have these)

Dont forget to check out Fast Grab, they did change it recently. I got the Music Bundle because those props will come in VERY handy for a music store at the mall, which I did go ahead and get. I got another 5%- as I had five punches. With the 70% off (the music bundle) you literally get all the products for the price of about one. I liked the bracelets and necklaces and the props, the figure was okay, and the outfit I'll get onto a mannequin someone (hide the figure and move it over onto one. Should be interesting.)

So anyway, do check fast grab.

There are also 3 stonemason items in fastgrab. I don't think I've ever seen Stonemason in fastgrab. Sadly I've already got those items.

LOL, most of the time now I don't know what people are talking about because I keep forgetting the "hide what I own" is in effect.

I picked up the FWSA MeMoo HD character by FWArt/Fisty/Kayjay/Sabby a couple of days ago as I try to support the creators of the more "unglamourous" or quirky characters which I think there are too few of in general. This is my first look... in this case with the bonus Mrs Claus skin options.

The hair is Ballet Bun (DAZ Original), the clothing is Winter Majesty for G2F by Ryverthorn with Christmassy textures from a Wilmap Fabricator set. The jewellery is from Christmas Earrings for G2F by DAZ Original/Fisty (a PA Christmas freebie early in the month, now at standard price) and "Drop Jewelry" by esha, which is apparently no longer in the store. The backdrop is just a plane with one of the Teresa Tyllo glass textures from the PA Freebie set a couple of days ago.

I've got to be honest, I like yours much better than the promos. The lighting makes the skin look less dry and with better folds. Question- did you have to do something special to get the background to glimmer or is that in the shaders? (I don't use them very often.)

One thing I'd like to see is some happy looking Elders. So many older characters look kind of unhappy with too many frown marks. Thanks for showing us MeMoo

Don't you love that name? Like an old auntie to cuddle up with! Or a grandkid falls down, I can hear her saying now, "Let MeMoo get a bandaid and make that all better..."

Odd thing is, that is actually using one of the two light sets that come straight "out of the box" with MeMoo! So I can't take any credit for the lighting.
The background texture does have that glimmer (at least when that lighting set is pointed at it) Those glass textures are really pretty.

I've heard the term MeMoo used for a parental female figure and I looked it up. urban dictionary says it is a synonym for 'mother' now we know. =-)

I assumed it was one of several variations of what is locally "Mamaw". It means Grandmother. Other popular ones here in Tennessee are Nana, Nanny, Grandma, and what I called all of mine, Granny.
On The Big Bang Theory, Dr. Sheldon Cooper calls his "Me-maw". :)

Nana or Nanna or Nan is popular for Grandmother in my part of the UK.

    Vanish

At 3:35pm today, my dog Vanish went to sleep. I loved that my vet came outside and helped Vanish along his way from the comforts of my truck. Vanish loved being outside and it was a perfect temperature day, about 65 degrees. Vanish spent from 4am to 11am this morning outside because it was so nice and he simply chose to stay outside when I asked if he wanted to come in. Vanish was deteriorating and I was very pleased that he truly seemed to enjoy today.

He got his name because the neighborhood was all woods (we were the first house on our street) and I kept seeing him about 11pm to 1am in the morning wandering in and out of the woods. One night he was trotting gently alongside a cat, keeping it company. I tooks months feeding him so he would let me touch his paw, but it finally happened then I started petting him. It was funny though- when I would walk across the street to get him water or turn to look at him, he would have vanished. Hence, "Vanish." He because part of our family and was such a sweetheart!

So Vanish is now with Charlotte, who left us a few weeks ago- and both are pain free and will be loved forever. Here's Vanish, photographed this morning.

But here's something that was an excellent choice last month. :) He is 3 1/2 months old, up to 5.4 pounds from 3.5.
And spunky. The little blue reindeer says "My First Christmas" and my neighbor bought it for him! (breaking hearts already.) He goes next door in her front yard to play with her three small dogs.

What a cutie, your puppy is adorable! Vanish was a handsome boy who looks like he had a gentle nature... it's a lovely photo to remember him by. I'm glad for his sake that he is now at peace and not suffering.

@Novica - sorry to hear about your latest loss - from the picture Vanish looked to be a lovely dog. Hope the new little fella helps to ease the pain.

Very sorry to hear of Vanish's passing, my condolences. I'm glad he enjoyed his final day and that he's no longer in pain. That's a beautiful portrait of him.

Your new bundle of joy is so adorable! Sounds like he's growing quickly...enjoy his puppyhood while it lasts!

Thank you everyone. Never thought I'd own a hound, I'm a long haired type (owned Samoyeds, Spitz, Collies, and now a Pekingese. Vanish chose me, lol)

There's a cool tool on puppychart.com- you enter the type of dog, birth date and the current weight, and it will give you an estimate of how much your puppy will weigh. Also shows it on a graph by months. Really cool Let's see how correct this is- it says mine will go to only about 8.8 pounds. (I love that, these go from 6 to 12 pounds on average. I'd prefer a daintier one.) Six pounds are called Sleeve Pekingese, because the Emperors used to wear them in their long robe sleeves to keep warm in China's winters. Fun fact!

Anyone who bought any of the Reptilian products, feel free to post a render. I'm not buying much anymore because I really have more than enough. I did buy Collective3d Modern Home Deluxe 1 because I have the entire neighborhood. Love the inside of that one too. So the only purchases I've made were sets like the indoor mall and the house. I did pick up the ponytail hair

Hmm, I took a second look at this because the price first caught my attention. Very well priced- under $10- so I'm supporting him and getting it. Take a peek if you haven't- look at the material zones and what you can do with this. So far as the slit up the side, you can always show it from the other direction or front. So sexy, or not. (Edit- lol, well it's FREE so that works. It didn't show up as free when it first loaded.)

So sorry to hear about Vanish, he's a beautiful dog....I am sure your new pup will give you lots of joy. Just to note I put the artemesia gown, hair mats and angel in my cart and all came up free right through checkout. Wondering if they are supposed to be free or is it a glitch?

No, I think that's right- but when I first loaded it, it didn't show as free (I don't think.) I also looked and it wasn't under the free section at the time. I'm probably losing my mind.

Judging by the "full" price of $9.95 they are probably part of the Hollidaz Freebies promo - perhaps they put tomorrow's up too early?

I did buy Reptilian- Because I liked the skins and some of the morphs. I don't care for the teeth at all, but you can blend the body nicely with human figures to make more humanoid aliens. The head is too Gorn-like (Star Trek reference), for my personal tastes.

Hmm. Now I have to some of the Lizardian textures on Reptilian.... Hmm..

If you buy those Free items, check the date on them in your Product Library. Someone accidentally let them out a day early, for sure. :)

Thank you for validating my sanity. It was NOT showing free then- I wasn't imagining it- and then went that way. I had gone into the Freebies sections too and no dresses were there.

Hate this is happening during the holidays- tornadoes hit Mississippi and the line is about 20 minutes from here. Already thundering. Good news is puppy isn't afraid of storms at all. Ya never know when you get a new pet how they handle that, and it can be a problem.

SereneNight- would love to see anything you do with the reptile. And anyone buying a punchable, do look at the already 30% dinosaurs, because then they go to about $3.50 with the additional 50% off.

Check out the scrolling banner on the store. There's a new spacesuit for G2M that'll be here tomorrow, probably. :)
Apparently we're getting an accidental early peek at it.

That looks really nice John. You know me too well! :) I say I must have that:) I've been feeling a lack of sci-if lately.

I'll work more on the reptilian and do some renders for you.

OMGOSH- that is EXACTLY what I thought!!!!!

Guys, where are you seeing that spacesuit? I looked at the People and Wearables scrolling banner and a few others and am not seeing it.
All I saw was this one: http://www.daz3d.com/g-suit-2-hd

    Argh. Going nuts.
