V3 clothing converter?

Hi all,

 

Is there a V3 or M3 clothing converter to Genesis 3 or Genesis 8? I'm seeing a lot of V3 clothing in particular popping up in the Build Your Own Bundle sales, for example. I'd like to snag a few things, but not if I can't reasonably use them with my Genesis 3 and 8 figures. So, is there a clothing converter like ones that Riversoft Art has for other characters and their clothing?

    Well, there's this product to do that from v3/m3 to genesis: https://www.daz3d.com/gen-3-iconic-shapes-for-genesis

    It's not a converter, but you can save autofitted clothes and use those to fit on G3 (if you have the autofit clones for genesis for G3

    As with all autofitting, it is not perfect....

    Wear Them All - Autofit Clones Expansion for Genesis 3 Male(s) and Genesis 3 Female(s) is an expansion that deals with V3 (and most Gen 3 figures) and it has worked well for me so far. I use it in conjunction with RSSY Ultimate Clothing Fixer Genesis 3. Won't do your whole library, only works for ine outfit at a time, but super useful

    I own these converters but haven't tried them, my question isonce you get a V3 outfit corerctly fitting G3 how do you save it with the adjustments so you don't have to go through the whole process again?

    Save it as a Wearable Preset.

    I am not sure that wil work for an auto fitted item. I usually use Save As->Support Asset->Figure/Prop Asset

    I notice that David 3 is not in that package which I have, is there any option for his clothes?

    David 3 for Genesis

    Crossdresser 4 will convert V3 clothing to Genesis. From there you can use DS.

    David 3 is included in the list given for the Wear Them All expansion readme. Can't test as I don't have any David 3 stuff.

    Yeah, the Wear Them All Expansion is awesome: https://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofit-clones-expansion-for-genesis-3-male-s-and-genesis-3-female-s

    It allows you to fit clothing made for a lot of the legacy figures (V3, M3, A3, H3, S3, D3, F3, and Kids 4) to Genesis 3. From there you can save it as a Wearable Preset and load that onto Genesis 8.
