black Line

For some reason at some renders there are black lines or spots on the face

that should NOT be there

Any idea what to do about that ?

 

Iray render  stopped after few minutes.. but even if i had done it to 100procent.. it would have been the same result (attached file)

In the hair's parameter setting, adjust the haircap (in this case, adjust forehead) a tiny bit.  Iray is sensitive to bumpmaps and normals so if things are too close, you get an interaction.

setting the render settings instancing optimisation to speed instead of auto or memory often works as well without having to adjust the hair cap

If the figure is moved away from the centre of the stage (0,0,0), try moving it back - assuming that doesn't add problems elsewhere.
