Duplicate key value

Hi,

Yet another issue, Daz Studio 4.12.1.118 refuse to install these products :

  • 4826 Oriental Tranquility (DIM)
  • 12331 Umbrella Patio Table (DIM)
  • 17857 Nick (DIM)
  • 72281 dForce Le Roi Outfit Michele (Daz Connect SEP/SEA)

    dForce Le Roi Outfit Michele is installed by using Daz Connect (online)

    Well I reset the database now these products are installed. I have to re-install the other 5140 products (892 GB)

    I don't think that is a good idea to force the user to download the whole library when the files are already on the computer in particular with these slow servers.

    Connect should see the files are there and just verify that they match those on the servers, though I admit it doesn't really look as if that reliably happens.

    Everything is installed now but these products vanished once again.

    Marvelous Bodysuit (65005) and texture add-on (65021) are missing too.

     

    I think "Update Metadata" removed these products without uninstalling them properly from the database, that would explain why there is duplcate key value.

    I reset the database and reinstall the whole library.

    I'm getting persistent ERROR:  duplicate key value violates unique constraint "product_guid_key" on four products that appear to be part of my 8 "Metadata update failed: 616 items succeeded, 8 items failed.". The products are:

    SET name = 'Millennium Big Cat LE', default_name = 'Millennium Big Cat LE', store_id = 1, token = '3744', artists = 'DAZ 3D',

    SET name = 'Millennium Cat LE', default_name = 'Millennium Cat LE', store_id = 1, token = '3743', artists = 'DAZ 3D',

    SET name = 'Goya HairStyle', default_name = 'Goya HairStyle', store_id = 1, token = '14101', artists = 'Neftis3D',

    SET name = 'M5 Poses 01 Standing', default_name = 'M5 Poses 01 Standing', store_id = 1, token = '14528', artists = 'Shimuzu',

    Is this anything to be concerned about / interested in?  If it is, what is the "fix".  Sounds like it might be uninstall / reinstall, but that whasn't 100% clear to me. I'm certainly not using the cats in any scene, but don't think I'm using the other two either.

    @stitlown

    You can try to uninstall these products and delete the entries in the Content Library pane. It will force Daz Studio to re-download the metadata.

    Try to install them with another download manager (Daz Connect or DIM)

    Thanks - will give it a go. Not sure how to "delete the entries in the Content Library pane" but I'm sure I'lll figure it out. :)
