I just purchased the following products which have Reality 2 and 4 options:

The install process wants to install a RealityCF option for each of the above products.

I can't seem to find any info on Reality and the DAZ Documention Center only has a "placeholder" for Reality CF when I google.

My question is: Do I need to use Reality with this product or is it optional as I am assuming? And is Reality a render option, just like Iray and 3Delight?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    No, you don't need to use Reality, these products simply include materials for people who use it.

    Reality is a plugin which enables you to use LuxRender render engine with DS. LuxRender would be the alternate to 3DL or Iray, Reality is more like an interface to LuxRender.
