Awhile ago, I was about to buy a 3TB hard drive. I realized pretty quickly that they were out-dated. So yeah, I'll be looking for larger hard drives. Now what will I do with the four 3TB hard drives that I have?! (Two desktop drives, and two Portable drives?!) Maybe I'll just leave them connected to the current, new, HP Envy desktop?!

They're all external right? Just keep using them till they die.

Not sure if you're still looking for parts for an entertainment PC, but Today (10/29/2020) at NewEgg.com is a sale on an ATX case that still has a cage for DVD drives.

It's only $39 and may not be the best of quality.  On the otherhand it may be a really good clearance sale on an old case design.  Why pay $80 for a modern case without DVD cage, when $40 can get you one with a DVD cage?

Just a thought.  Actually this is the case I would have bought for myself if I'd looked harder.  I still regret not having a space for an internal DVD.

I'm so old that I've watched the rise and fall of many many types of data storage media.  Everything all the way back to wire recorders from the '40s still in use when I was a kid in the '50s.  And in the same time period I even remember using one-sided, 1/4 inch thick, hard shellac, 78 RPM records played with a thorn needle on a windup gramaphone.  But I lament the passing of the DVD, the most.
