How to remove movement in aniblock?

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

I have a run aniblock that I want the run motion, but not the movement. How would you go about that?

If you had Keymate, I don't, you might be able to delete the forward motion? Otherwise, how would it be to take apart that aniblock and create a new one. Basically, step through the aniblock and save poses for the figure every several frames. Remember at what frames they came from, say every 4 frames. Then open the timeline and create a keyframe for the first pose. go to the next position on the timeline apply the next pose, making sure there is no translation of the figure. Repeat for all of your poses. If, when you play the animation, it's not smooth enough just ad more poses between the existing ones. When you have it the way you want it, Bake it to an aniblock.
