Lost. How do I change menu text colors in workspace

I cannot seem to find any usable documentation by DS on customizing workspace, specifically the font colors.

It's like they don't want anyone to know.

I'm getting old!  Eyes not what they used to me so I really need HIGH CONTRAST and preferably larger font sizes.

I find info on what appears to be a very old version of DS directing me to things that don't even appear to exist in my version of DS.

If there is an actual usable tutorial I have not found one.  If anyone can either direct me or provide a link to a usable functional guide to do this in 4.12 please do so.
