Fixed that for You, as I - as usual when it's Celebrity Models Series figures - do not see a great than marginal likeness... and a single mole doesn't change my mind
re: CS114 - My first impression at a glance (w/ no particular attention to details) was Kristen Bell, mostly because of the eyes and mouth. However, could it have been a bad Sasha Luss? I guess. So I was like, whatever. With CS lately it's kinda hard to tell, anyway.
Fun fact about StarByFace, w/ every non-descript like generic blonde, Sasha Luss always comes up in the results, apparently. I tried a Sienna Miller photo some time ago, and Sasha Luss was more of a match than Sienna Miller herself, LOL...
Tells you a lot about the abilities of algorythms when it comes to identify a human being. One can only hope, that the ones used by security agencies all over the world work a tad better.
Considering how often facial recognition algorithms fail to recognize black people as humans, that would be a misplaced hope.
Guhzcoituz has released a character at Renderhub - GG Amazon for G8F. Is the she close enough to be a good Gal Gadot?
Even I, with my poor recognition of celebrities, thought that the instant I saw the image.
Regards,
Richard
It's Guhzcoituz...
Looks good, but I'd still prefer the version from Sangriart at Rendo, because it doesn't come with a "Editorial Use Only Restriction", which severely limits the use of the model (afaik).
Any celebrity likeness that's close enough to be mistaken for the celebrity inherently has editorial use restrictions unless the celebrity has explicitly given permission for their likeness to be used otherwise. There's a reason there are exact duplicates most places :D
there's a reason there *isn't ?
there's a reason there *aren't
Ssshhh... you knew what I meant :D
HID just added Ellie (Sam?) to his roster. Any idea who it is? The face reminds me of Christina Ricci but the body for her feels off.
I also say HID Ellie is a young Christina Ricci. The waist/hips need to be less curvy to make it much closer to Christina's body.
HD Ellie looks more like Emma Watson to my eye.
Seems a bit disingenuous to me, since the creator is obviously using it for commercial purposes, no?
HID Ellie looks like Elizabeth Olsen to me.
Just to avoid any confusion, HID Elle is based off Elizabeth Olsen, HID Ellie is the new model.
Also, I know I'm new, but there's an older model I don't think has ever been identitified. Ella HD by Maelwenn is clearly based off 90s hottie and softcore star, Lisa Boyle.
Nice catch! Been wondering about that one for a while now.
Let's just say I'm a certain age that cinemax made a huge impact for me. So I remember Lisa very clearly. On that note, creators please make a Nikki Fritz or Monique Parent model, please. I could also be happy with a good Raquel Welch... Totocandy1's great model not withstanding.
First impressions for me is Reese Whiterspoon. And she did play an 'Ellie' in one of her earlier movies.
Ah, OK. Thanks. I was like huh? LOL. Ellie doesn't look much like anyone I recognize.
The height is spot on (within reason) for Chrstina Ricci. I've mentioned it in-thread before, but one of the dead giveaway's for @HID3D's intentional likenesses is that there's a height given that matches reality.
Devery might be worth taking a gander at.
From the main promo I can kinda see where Emma Watson came from, mainly I think from the hair chosen. For me, I join the Chritina Ricci group. She looks like a younger CR with older CRs eyebrows.
Interesting, when she was released Ella HD was identified as Gemma Arterton (I think she just starred in Bond at the time).
I could be wrong, but the face really feels like Lisa Boyle to me.
EDIT: Now I can see both. -_- They both have a similar chin and eyes. Sorry to get everyone worked up. But creators if you're looking for some new ideas... 90s era cinemax after dark stars. ;)
No need for apologies and you very well may not be wrong, different people see different celebrities all the time, welcome to the wonderful world of DAZ celebrity spotting!
As ChangelingChick said above, and others have said before, for creators, exact duplicates can be problematic (there have been interventions in the past). Recreating someone with the Genesis range of figures is not an exact science so interpretation is bound to occur. If she works as Lisa Boyle for you go for it, hair and clothing can make a big difference as well as scene context.
PS I corrected my spelling of Arterton in my original post (before I felt the wrath of maikdecker, again)
What about Hailey 8.1 being based on Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores from Westworld)?
I've heard worse ideas :)
