Daz o 3ds max plugin problem

Is there any way to use daz plugin and mainain existing scene in 3ds max? Because  i have environment with props in 3ds max and i cannot use daz plugin over this scene, it requires to open a blank 3ds max scene

Open Daz scene in Max, then Import/Merge your Max scene.
