Project Hairy 456 for Daz Studio how to apply it...

I'm trying to apply the Project Hairy 456 for Daz Studio SKU:30802 to the Cat World Regenesis HD - Panther SKU:18266 the product allows you stack the Jewel armor ontop of the body hair but when I attemp to do so they just overwrite each other. And yes I have the required Michael 4 for Genesis 2 Male SKU:17664. Can anyone take me though the steps. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?

Also is there a way to apply the geoshell to the figure without it applying it to the Panther tail or turn off/hide the geoshell around it? The Project Hairy 456 doesn't take the tail into consideration so the tail just stays a base colorless skin that I can't do anything to.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely

Jacob

I'm not certain, but you probably need to stack your geoshells -- create one for the hair first, put the hairy materials on that one, then create another geoshell for the jewel, and apply your materials to that one. As long as you're trying to apply both to the same geoshell, they'll just overwrite each other.

That aside: You seem to be mixing your generations. Michael 4 for Genesis 2 Male is, as the name states, required for Genesis 2. Cat World Regenesis is original flavor Genesis -- it's the generation before that, and is incompatible with the Michael 4 for Genesis 2 Male product. Or are you putting the Cat World Regenesis texture on a Genesis 2 Male? If so, disregard that first sentence in this paragraph.

You should be able to turn off the geoshell around the tail by going to the surfaces tab and turning the surface on the tail geoshell to zero with Opacity Strength (3Delight) or Cutout Opacity (Iray, but Catworld Regenesis was never made for Iray, so may look a bit odd used with that.)

ok ill try making a second shell. I'm still learning about them. All I know is they are like a super thin second skin that overlaps.

Hum I'll go look wasn't sure where I could attempt to tweak it. I though the geoshell was over the entire body (including tail) but if it's seperate that should work. I mean It works fine on rest of the body just not the tail. It's this grey textureless blob. If I can get the tail to poke out of the geoshell or just turn the shell off that should work fine. I just need the orginal texture to show.
