Yep, bit of a fan. It's about the only RAPPY type music I can stand but some of the songs just ring with me.

EDIT: I also like Evansessance another semi-rappy group.

since people kept posting my music was like dubstep on my videos I have started listening a bit to dubstep!
out of curiousity, it grows on you after a while.
still prefer my guitar driven hard rock though but can see how you could mix and mash it up with dubstep like Evenescance and others do with emo rap and hard rock.
Yes I listen to Evanescance too!
I tend to like a wide range of music, not so much pop though, Justin Beiber and boi groups make me want to barf!

I get quite into the songs, so I have to be careful sometimes or the music I listen to will depress me severely! I prefer angry music like Linkin Park over miserable music like Evanescence. Though Bring Me to Life is a good Evanescence song.

I don't even know what dubstep is.

my "toughies" video was inspired a bit by the Bangarang video but pesonally I think "little green bag" from Reservoir dogs would go better with it.

it is my third tough babies video using Genesis, I like the mean little buggers!

That's just to funny. I clicked on the ebot as Evanescence came on in my playlist. I come in and see you mention her. Listening to "Fallen" atm.

Synchronicity Frank. I'm with Barry though. I prefer the EDGE of Linkin Park. Just that tad bit more of my style of music.

Judas Priest still do it for me. Some very inspiring songs for a metal band.

Sorry guys, I was trying to get my "writing expert" of a brother to help me improve my story, but he decided to be a butthead and I got a bit discouraged. But I fixed it up a little. Is it against TOS to post cFacebook links? Blogger wipes out my format.

Some of us have jobs to do. Like me... I've spent ALL day doing nothing (My main job) and then I helped a user here or there and then posted in other threads. I put a pot of beans on in the crock pot for all night slow cooking. Entertained my brother for a few hours then my neice for about an hour, posted some more, helped another user I hope. Watched a Movie, posted some more stuff, looked for other users to help... you know, my normal every day job stuff. Later I plan to read for awhile.

I just plum forgot this thread because nobody was in it. :red:

I pour my heart out and nothing? Man, it is slow in here today.

Okay, not exactly a heart rending story but still? It's hard to work this room without some feedback to work with.

Jeff, did you see my question about TOS a few posts up?

  • JaderailJaderail Posts: 0
    edited December 1969

Nope, missed the TOS part, I read it but that just went in one ear and out the other. You can link to any Off site as long as it will filter Porn or other none allowed content from underage users. I link to DA and show my none DAZ renders, that's allowed. People link to Youtube that has some vulgar stuff. You should be fine with a FB link. Just tell me it's not full of cussing and sex stuff and I think you will be in the clear.

well I link facebook images here and even embed them on other forums where you can embed, (used to on the old one too)
so I do not see why not.
I got moderated a few days ago for saying something but due to Old age, I do not recall exactly what I posted except it apparently violated the T.O.S. because it is deleted and I cannot even find the thread I posted to (as it does not appear in threads this user has posted to) I cannot jog my memory to what exactly I said so I have been trying to stay a bit quieter mostly posting experiments with software and stupid stuff in the stupid thread.

Wasn't really feeling great yesterday, had a migraine and spent some time just watching The Olympics on tv. I should be around more to post this week, but not all about 3D as I'm also back into web design (some of it back in the adult field too). So much to do, so much pain while sat at the puter!

You say about jobs to do. Well, I don't have a specific job title or official work, but my current projects (for lack of a better word):
Big 3D Project: This will last forever, and involves modelling elven styled buildings, and associated items.
3D Project: A render of a dragon, with the goal being to look as realistic as possible.
Websites: 15 sales websites to redesign and repopulate with products. Big job.
Adult Websites: 5 'feeder' sites to write for, one which needs designing from scratch. The aim is to get traffic and send it to a bigger site.

Plenty to work on, and with my brain the way it is, I need to concentrate just to remember my name!

I'm in pretty poor shape today myself Barry. I did not sleep well and I feel it. To top it off our weather is changing and that has all my aches kicking up a few notches. That could be the reason for the bad nights sleep. I'm sopposed to go out today and help my neice but I think I will beg off.

Hey Jacob, I read chapter one and it got me into the story. I'm saving chapter two for later today so have a reason to surf some more.

Sorry your having a bad day Jeff. Our weather has been pretty good for the last few days so I don't have the pain associated with the weather. I just have my regular old pain.

ouch, my day just took a turn for the worse, my workplace bully after giving me a night of hell decided to contact Human resources at work and lodge a complaint about me!
    She is a sly one!
I could be looking for a job very soon and it could not come at a worse time with a car loan over my head.
I cannot believe the audacity of the woman but unfortunately she has a gift for sucking up to bosses while giving co-workers hell, most can ignore her but I am an easy victim as I get upset easily so she focuses on me, she looks for weakness in people and exploits it.
I find this very hard to deal with as it goes against the very nature of how I was raised and think as I always try to help people, look out for others and try to work as a team doing stuff logically and efficiently to get the job done, this woman looks for ways to make the job difficult and impede others and blames everyone else.
She picks her moments when she knows she can get away with it to be difficult.
I cannot understand this need to be manipulative and vicious and utterly miserable all the time, life is too short,
I better do my tax return paperwork after finally picking up a form yesterday so I can get a bit of extra cash to put into my loan, have been squirriling my pay away not spending much alread, can prob pay a third of it off right now in a lump sum.
50 is not a good age to be looking for a new job, I have pretty much accepted I might be on the dole for a while but will try to get work, it is just the unneeded stress when someone does not need to make life so hard not just for me but for herself and others to no logical end!
I personally believe she is mentally ill but apparently I can get into big trouble for saying that even though it is blatantly obvious.

I think putting a link to my Youtube channel in my resumé might do more harm than good %-P
I must work out a way to include some of my 3D dabblings though without it looking naff.
while it is a hobby, the possibility of using it for clip art etc in letterheads etc depending on what line of work I end up in cannot be overlooked

Think today is a big housework day! Got a visitor coming tomorrow, a friend I've not seen for about six years. Looking forward to seeing her again. Although it will remind me of 'what might have been' so a little apprehensive! Just seeing the positivie in it at the moment though :D

How is everybody now? Seems like there have been more ups and downs.

Jacob, I haven't read all of Chapter 1 yet, I'm not feeling great, but one thing I need to say is that you must watch your punctuation. You use semicolons when you shouldn't use anything, or just a comma. And in one sentence you use a full stop AND a comma. Needs some serious proofing.

Also, when you ask a rhetorical question, it reads better if it's left unanswered. For instance, when you say "Men like women to be beautiful don't they?" just leave it there, don't answer it.

Spelling is also an issue, but it's more down to typing mistakes than actual bad spelling.

    Will read it properly later.

Evening (my time) folks, it's been one of those days. I hate dialysis days. I can barily answer a post and keep what I'm saying in words that connect together. I'm having trouble remembering names again, I know who it is, the name just will not click. My arm (my needle site) is still bandaged and tightly enough it hurts, but it's to early to take them off. I might leak, sometimes that's a pain in the butt to stop, so I got to just hurt for at least four more hours. I need to cook but dont feel like it, which is okay because I really don't want anything to eat right now.

Okay, that's enough untill I feel better again. Hope you all had good days.

Barry, it's cool how you look outv for that kind of stuff. I never was good at proofreading and never did get the hang of semicolons. I was reading some books and analyzing where they put semicolons.

As for spelling, you're right, it's more a typing issue. I aced all my spelling tests in school and have had to literally spell every word I say for years. Deaf brother, deaf self, deaf life...well, not really, I wasn't deaf all my life.

Thanks, Barry. Guess I'll be doing some proofing.

As a former English teacher, I'll be happy to proof for you. I used to mark up notes my kids' teachers sent home. I would grade them (in red) and send them back the next morning.

Anne, I would have been an English major, but I heard about the nightmare of having to write a two digit number of pages for a report. Report + 72 pages = Run Away. :P

EDIT TO ADD: Just finished proofing Chapter 1. It should be cleaner now. Will clean up Two later.
