Some downloads are failing for me as well - "Frost for Winter Fantasy" and "SY Templates for Genesis 3 Male" both don't work. Please fix, thanks!
Seems to a common problem at the moment. I'm sure someone else with more knowledge will post but my experience is to keep trying. I just keep hitting the download button and all mine have, eventually, installed. One got really stuck and I found a partial download file in my download location so I deleted it and it installed after that.
I had the same issues yesterday, and opened a ticket. The response was that they do have network errors and are working hard to fix them. In my case, the issue was solved about an hour later.
So, wait a bit, then retry. If the error persists for a longer period, I would suggest opening a ticket.
I ended up opening a ticket. About a dozen other files have downloaded. Just one product seems to not download via DIM or the browser.
Richard said that he's told that Daz is aware of it and are looking into it: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/6143491/#Comment_6143491
2022 and still happening with every single one of my files.. are you sure Daz worked on that problem back in 2020? ^^'
I think you need to be more specific.
How are you installing, and what is your experience.
I have had faulty products, but can't remember any general failure with installations.
Fixing a network/server issue once doesn't mean it will never ever have a problem again - especially within 2 years.
It doesn't mean much but I have downloaded plenty of stuff via DIM over the past month or so - including last night which was about 5/6 hours before your post. The only time I had any failures was when my own internet was being a bit rubbish and they worked the second time when I restarted.
The thing in 2020 was a CDN issue, not a DIM issue. If downloads are failing, it's because of a screwed up installation, or firewall/permissions block, or insufficient disk space or some other local issue.
