Creating Pose Presets : Staying On The Ground?

So... I'm working on a pose set for Genesis. I have not done a DS-native package before, so this is the first one. And I'm running into an issue with saving the presets. Some of the poses apply without moving the figure off of the ground plane, others seem to move the figure either above or below the ground plane no matter what options I check or un-check while saving the preset.
I'm finicky about pose packs that I distribute - I don't like to offer the packs to people until I'm certain the poses are done RIGHT - and that means NOT moving the figure off of the floor when the pose is applied. With Poser, it's a very simple matter of saving the poses and making sure that the figure translations are un-checked.
That doesn't seem to be working with the DS pose presets. I'm out of ideas here. I've re-saved the problem poses repeatedly, and they still insist on moving the figure above or below the ground.
Sooo... uhm.. what am I doing wrong? LOL
Thanks. =)

i tried with 3 different poses on Genesis as pose presets using ctr-d and they all are fine after loading again
Even if you manually uncheck the entire General heading and then also the General heading under the Hip? That usually fixes it for me.
I've unchecked the General heading, yes. I have certain poses in this package that use the y translation to pull the hip downwards, as in for poses where the figure is sitting, for example. Oddly enough, those are not among the problem poses at all.
Here's a screenshot of the settings I'm using when I go to save the pose preset, if it helps any? These same settings were used for all the poses, yet some jump off the floor, some drop under the floor, and some stay on the floor. I don't have a version of Poser that can make use of the DSON, so I don't really have a way to do this from inside of Poser... I have to do it through DS.
(Click image so the settings are legible.)
What's in Hidden that you need as part of the pose?
Nothing as far as I know. I didn't even look in there until just now. Thanks for that. I un-checked that section as well, and re-saved. Same issue. Still moves the figure up/down from the floor.
These are being built for Genesis with the 'basic child' shape being set to 1.000, as they are intended as children's poses. Could that be part of the issue? Do I need to save them with Genesis at complete default?
I apologize for all the stupid questions. This is literally the first time I've done a DS-native package, and I just want to make sure the files are RIGHT before I upload it for folks to use.
I'm stumped. Saving the pose with a morph on should be causing issues as far as I know. I don't recall Basic Child having, say, a native hip translation the way Teen Josie does.
Well, I just took a closer look at the parameters of the problem poses. They are all being assigned a hip Y-translation on application, yet when I save the file out, I have done a CTRL-D to ensure figure is on the floor, and checked to make sure the translation on the hip is set to 0, and then un-checked the General for the hip and figure before saving. And it still does it.
Rargh. LOL I don't know what else to do to make these work right. I don't like to release sub-standard quality items... and I really, really hate having to release a "there's a bug I can't fix with these files, you have to do such-and-such" disclaimer with my items. Argh. It seems like no matter what I do, the poses are applying a hip translation when applied to Genesis.
That is adjusting it to be on the floor via the general settings which your then (correctly) not saving out. . You need to do any adjustments via the hip y and save only that translation.
Khory - thank you!! That's as close to fixing this that I think I'm going to get.
It means that the only way the figure will stay on the floor is if the Basic Child is dialed to 1.000. Genesis with all morphs set to 0, the poses still move the figure slightly up or down from the floor, but it's a vast improvement over the figure growing invisible wings, or sinking into the basement... LOL
Poses for genesis and genesis 2 don't tend to be universal anyway because of scaling on body parts. I never checked but my guess would be that the child is not just smaller scale but also has slightly shorter legs than an adult figure would.
Yes, also slightly shorter arms as well. I do understand. I just wanted to make sure no one had to go searching for their figure after applying the poses. =)
