The lenses don't come off, but it's easy to clean (microfiber cloth always). see this video
if it's blurry, try playing with the IPD settings (move the lenses side to side). I assume you did pull the plastic coating off the lenses first. Also how it sits on your head/face also affects the sharpness.
Mine is rather sharp with no issues, matter of fact I am wearing it now as I check the forums.
Getting the right IPD is important, and if you usually wear glasses you have to wear them with the headset too. Best way to check if its actually the headset is for someone else to look through as well and see if they have the same issues. Positioning it in the right spot helps a lot to focus as well.

There is also a glasses spacer that comes with it if you haven't tried it yet.

Also did you maybe leave the headset in sunlight? Bright sunlight on the lenses can damage it within seconds
