Daz Vanished??

Hi all, I was using Daz yesterday, opened my computer today and Daz has vanished, It doesnt seem to be on my computer anymore. Windows 10. in my documents the daz folder is still there with its info, I tried to open a scence from there but it wont open because nothings for it to open with? am I missing something how could this be? If i download it again will my current info be safe is my now concern?

    DAZ is the name of the company and they have not vanished [I hope].
    For Daz Studio, check the computer - is it listed as being installed?
    Windows Start > Settings > Apps ...

    D/S normally opens via a Desktop icon, or from another such .exe shortcut, not any of the scene files, etc.

    ................

    n.b. concerning W10, if any app is installed to an external source, it will 'vanish' until the external source is re-connected and the shortcuts are remade.

    Hi thank you, yes checked this, it was litrally removed from my PC, so strange, I have since downloaded it again so im back up and running again so thank you for extending your help! much appreciated :)

    Yes that is strange.

    While it is on your computer, if you search for the folder in which the deinstall .exe is stored and rename that file to have the extension ".old" - then it won't work until you rename it back to .exe.
