Fitting a mask...permanently

Frustrating problem.
Genesis 2 Male figure, clothed, action hero.
Have a mask that works perfectly, but not made for this figure.
By scaling, translating, rotating for a period of time I will not mention, viola, it fits.
But.
If I change the pose must start all over. parenting the mask to head, eyes, etc causes the mask to jump
over the head and I must start all over.
Do not mind the iniatial work, result is worth it, but wish to make the mask a part of the characters face
and move with it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you've selected 'parent in place' when you parent the object. That should fix most of your woes.

Make sure you have Parent inb Place checked in the Change Parent dialogue, if you are using that, or in the Scene pane option menu (lined button in the top corner, or right-click on the tab), if you are dragging and dropping there to change the parent. That should keep the mask in place.
