Studio won't open: "fatal crash"

After waiting for months, I've been trying to get studio to open, but have had no success. I've even tried to install an older version so that I can access my content, but the install content feature just locks up and the install doesn't finish. Tech support has been trying to help me, (it takes days sometimes for a response) and nothing that Amy has suggested seems to work. There isn't much online as far as references to the problem so I haven't had any luck there either. I've spent so much money on Daz and now I feel like a motherless child. Has anyone else had this problem? and what can I do to get something done about this?

What are your system specifications, what security software are you running, which is being a problem - installing or using - and how did you install?
