Room Creator is in Poser Format (CR2 and PP2).
You will find it in Poser Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > Figures/Props. I don't know if it has Metadata or not, so it may not appear in Smart Content, but it will be in the Content Library pane as listed above.
If you installed using the DAZ Install Manager (DIM), then load DIM, then go to the Installed tab, right click on the item, and select 'Show Installed Files'. That will show you where everything was installed to.
I replied to your PM, but I need more detailed information in order to help you.
Thanks for replying, Jimmy

My pleasure mac!
Hi!
I am another user in the same situation as the dude above. I found the room creator in the poser content as JimmyC suggested. Added the Main room, Inner walls and a basic door.
The problem is that I don't know how to move the door. I tried the "move left" and "move right" in the pose category but nothing seems to happen. I could move with the gizmos but I believe that there's an easier way to do this. I read the tutorial, but didn't find any answer there.
Can someone give me some guidance on how to use the room creator 2 properly?
Thanks!
Are you using Daz Studio? If so, have you installed the RC Toolbar?
The Toolbar has a set of poses specifically designed for Room Creator. For example, XPos moves any figure/object 170cm to the right. If you have the main room and a door loaded, switch off the wall section to the right of the door, select the door apply Xpos, and it'll move into the correct position.
Note - Make sure you have the door figure selected, and not one of its body parts.
To install the Toolbar, go to the folder Daz Studio/Maclean/Room Creator/Room Creator 2/Toolbar and double-click '!QuickPose Add'. The Toolbar should appear along with your other toolbars. (You may need to close/re-open DS to see it). You can also use the pose presets in the folder without installing the RC Toolbar, and if for any reason, you want rid of the Toolbar, you can either switch it off or uninstall it. I find it very handy because it works on any figure or object at all - not just Room Creator.
Let me know if this solves the problem. If not, we'll try and figure out what's wrong.

Hi Maclean!
Thanks for the answer. I am using Daz Studio and I am not using the RC Toolbar.
I followed your instructions, but in Daz Studio/Maclean there's no Room creator, only folders to other products of yours (Attached screenshot). I searched everywhere in the DAZ Studio formats and Poser Formats of the Content Library. I used the search field and couldn't find anything. I looked in the documents folder and the only thing that I believe might be related is a RCQuickpose.py that I found in C:\...\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\Runtime\Python\poserScripts\ScriptsMenu .
As additional information, I instaled the files without DIM.
I think what may have happened is that you only downloaded the Poser version. There are 2 installers, and one has all the Daz Studio files. That seems to be the one you're missing. Poser has it's own version of the Toolbar, but of course, the .py files won't work in DS.
It should still be in your account. Check and see, then let me know.

Thanks Maclean! That solved the situation.
There was a 1 mega file that I ignored when I downloaded the RC2. I assumed that it was something for poser that I wouldn't need. I downloaded and copied the files to Daz and everything is working fine now.
Thanks again man!
No problem. Glad you got it sorted out.

Didn't even know that it existed. Just downloaded and have to say that I love the Toolbar already. I use Room Creator for my characters homes. I've even duplicated several of the apartments that I've lived in over the years.
Heh. Very cool!
Yep. The Toolbar is pretty handy. And as I said earlier, it can be used with anything at all. I'm always moving stuff around with it.

It would be nice if you could move things in smaller increments, as well as the larger ones that are built in now.
If you look in the Tool Settings pane there are snapping options, off by default.
If you want to do that, you can easily edit the existing Room Creator presets and resave them as new ones. Only the Toolbar install/remove scripts are encrypted. The others are all simple presets. You can also add new presets to the RC Toolbar (or make your own new toolbar).
Here are the steps to edit a preset.
In the Room Creator 2/Toolbar folder, open a preset in Notepad and enter any value you like, then resave it with a new name. Below is the relevant section from the Xpos preset.
If you change 170 to 50, the preset will move any figure/object 50 centimeters to the right (Xtrans positive), -20 would move it 20cm to the left (Xtrans negative). NaN means 'Not A Number' ie zero. In fact, you can use all 3 axes in a preset. For example,
That moves an object Xtrans 100, Ytrans 100, Ztrans 100.
If you want to add a new preset to the Toolbar, here are the steps. (Copied from a previous post I made)
1. Right-click the preset in the content library and choose ‘Create Custom Action’
2. Go to customise (F3) and expand ‘Custom’ in the left-hand pane to find your new action.
3. In the right-hand pane, click on the Tool Bars tab to show it. To add your custom action to any existing toolbar, drag it onto the toolbar name. If you expand the toolbar name, you can choose the action’s position, or move it up/down in the list.
4. To create your own new custom toolbar, right-click in the toolbar list and choose ‘Add Toolbar’. Name it and drag your custom action onto the new toolbar.
5. To show your new toolbar, go to the Activate tab and expand any entry. Find your toolbar in the list, right-click it and choose ‘Enable Toolbar’, then click on ‘Accept’ in the Customise dialog.
Your new toolbar will appear with the others and your action will have its own icon (the one from the content library). You can add as many actions as you like to the same toolbar, or create different toolbars for figures, materials, etc.
