Just curious if as well as characters you guys need landscapes, settings, architecture scenes? And if renders re still neded? Also saw mentioned that standard royalties apply, what would that compensation be? Also curious of the mention of a norse contest? Where is that and does that mean to not do norse for this one?

The Norse Character Contest has already ended. But if you want to see them:

Quite what I expected .. and glad I opted out after first contest.

If you have a FB or G+ account, you can to leave a message over there:

    https://www.facebook.com/TrollHammerGames
    https://plus.google.com/109757055004648732841/posts

PS: It looks like he spammed dozens of G+ groups with "the digital art contests", half of these posts got deleted by group moderators then. This and his silence days, even weeks after contests ended looks VERY unprofessional (no matter what reason he might give later, if at all).

(sighs)... Lesson learned I guess... but I refuse to think bad of people til they've earned it. It was a great learning experience... and I'm glad I didn't make any more renders than I did already. I just hope he's not dead or anything.. I don't wish that on anyone :)

Also might not hurt to do a review or two on drivethrurog.com where he does his sales.

He (aka TrollHammerGames) sells on rpgnow as well:
    http://www.rpgnow.com/browse.php?manufacturers_id=4647&filters=0_0_0_0_40050&page=1&sort=4a

(Edit: Looks like that is connected with or the same one as drivethrustuff, which I didn't see before)

Personally I think reviews on products shouldn't be abused for comments on this subject, as we all know no matter what the quality or price of an item is, a lot of work might have gone into making it. There are still enough places where he announced the contests and/or asked for advice/opinions on the book he planned using the contest renders.

I agree with you Llolalane! I 've also followed him at facebook and one day he disappeared. No msg, no mail, nothing...
    I'm really disappointed :´(

By the way... today is his birthday. If someone wants to salute him ;)

Since we are ignorant of the circumstances we should not be drawing any conclusions. It's understandable that people are frustrated, but please avoid accusations or forming an assemblage of individuals with pitchforks and torches.

You have something completely right: we don't know any circumstances. To me it's still very weird...

Hopefully you will all get this clarified soon. You put so much work into those renders, you simply deserve that.
