Converting PS logo into something more Daz3d friendly...

Hola,

Well, we have come up with a logo for our art projects...Autism-Powered!
We made a 2d logo in photoshop and wanted to use it with our renders, but it looked a little
janky when we put them together.
So, my question is, how would I go about getting someone who would work on a 3d Daz friendly version of a logo?
I'm not sure who/where to ask.
We've got money. Not much, but I don't ask people to work for free.

Any assistance would be awesometastic.

Thanks,

Jim.

If you could post an image of what you have so far, or even what you are looking for now, that would be a great help.

Do you want to use this logo at the bottom corner of renders for example? If so, it should be simple enough to create one. Photoshop may not be the easiest way to do it, but I have Draw Plus X6 which comes with many tolls for this kind of work. I am not an artist of any kind, and would not require payment, but if I can create something that is useful to you, you are welcome to it.

did you want a 3D model of your logo?

Yeah, originally we were just going to use our 2d logo, but it just doesn't have the same affect we think as a 3d one, and haven't a clue how to do it. Going to try and attach the logo.

Do you have a decent collection of shaders to put on it?

What format would you like it in? ... (would you like it as a plain .OBJ, or as a .PP2 prop, or as a .DUF?).

Would you prefer the "jigsaw" to have a backing board, or to be see-through (like it is below).

Following is a very quick DS render, and the wireframe, and a render from Blender (click for larger):

(for DaremoK3, yes, I modelled the text by hand, and modelled each of the jigsaw pieces as well ;-) ).

Thanks all :o)... PM sent, Jim.

EDIT: hey, I'm sure the OP wouldn't mind different interpretations of his logo... Wendy and Jimmy, you should definitely have a go at it too! It's art after all - everybody's work will be unique, and different creations based on a theme are always interesting to see and study (^_^)d. For myself, I just made a very obsessive-compulsive version, tracing the outlines of the original image with splines, and then triangulating. Initially I thought I might try a "solid" heart and use a displacement map to do the jigsaw piece outlines, but my OC got the better of me <(^_^).</p>

Thanks a ton, we love it!!!!

BTW, I wouldn't mind other versions at all. This is exciting and we're all very very appreciative!

    Thanks!!!

By the way, how should I credit you for doing this?

Me? ... I don't need any credit (would prefer none actually)... but if you could post a few pics showing how you used it, that'd be wonderful (^_^).
