Crush Squash a Splat

How do I make something look like its been crushed or sqashed?

Ive searched the store but cant seem to get the search right unless there is nothing.

Im looking to create an image where the person accidently squashes something they walk on.

Use a dForm? You could scale everything on the vertical axis, regradless of the pose orientation, and perhaps use several dForms to stretch areas horizontally.
