Daz Site downloads?

Daz Site downloads are sometimes getting problematic. Usually it is only one or two files in an order but today with IM00056487-01_EastAsianWomenforMeiLin8 (one of the platinum for a day) the download has failed 30 if not 40 times. It is a 850mb file but 120mb is the most it has got to before failing

    Clear the download history and/or the browser's cache - this might help. Prevents the browser from simply copying over the previous bad download.

    The servers are undoubtedly rather busy and yes, that's a large file. Might work better in a few hours or even tomorrow. This has been the case for some of the other problematic downloads.

    Yeah, a 'known issue' 'being worked on'.

    Until now I have been able to download stubborn files by out-stubborning them and hitting the download button a lot. (Apologies to others for hammering the DAZ servers, probably not helping).

    I have today come across the only file that completely refuses to download. My confusion is that this is the Sci-Fi HDRI Collection. It is split into 6 files 1of6 to 6of6. Parts 1, 3, 5 and 6 downloaded fine. Part 4 downloaded after a few retries. Part 2 will not download. Tried all my ususal tricks and followed all suggestions without success.

    Now, what has me puzzled is that this is one product, one purchase time and date. Presumably with all files prepared at the same time and uploaded to the server at the same time with the same tags etc. So why did one take several attempts and one won't download at all? What is different about this/these file/s?

    Giving up until tomorrow and then I'll file a ticket. Colour me grumpy.

    With DIM there seem to be a periodic glitch that breaks download which means that the larger a file is the greater the risk that it's being hit by the glitch so that download fails.
