I have been out of the loop for a few weeks. Whats going on with the Gallery? I dont know where to look for answers.

Oh so are they Revamping the Gallery? Would be nice if there was a way to follow artists, with notifications of comments and Private messages. I been waiting for that feature for years.The Daz Gallery is a bit behind the times if you ask me. It hasnt changed in years, even with knowing how social media has taken the internet by storm there is very litte social interaction to be made in the gallery outside of comments that you dont know exist unless you check your email. The Daz Gallery is very "2005" Which actually hurts their sells. Because people love to show off their art and talk about it. They would get more product sells if artists had more motive to render. I have a bit of a following. I know about 600 people who would subscribe to follow my art, if the Daz Gallery was more modern.
All good points. Another improvement would be to allow for a choice of background colour. Images can look very different set against a dark background, like at Rendo or DA or ArtStation and a plain white background like Daz has.
Yeah, I'd love to see to features Angel - Wings mentions! Subscribing, following, maybe some options for a profile.
Yes. Custom profiles... I mean, this is an art site afterall. I'm imagining "My Space" type custom profiles, with "Twitter" type social interaction.
That might be a little far fetched but one can dream. =D
But my first suggestions are totaly within reason me thinks.
yeah I'd like some sort of notifications of when I comment on someones art that the artist has commented back also how favorited renders are listed, how it was if you were looking for a specific render you liked and wanted to see again especially if you commented on it and wanted to see if you got a reply you had to to go through so many trying to find it as they were all out of order of when you liked them
Ya. a notice when an artist replies to you. I've had questions on some works of art but it gets lost in the Gallery and so I never know if the artist ever replied. That happens to me all the time and I'm sure I am not the only one who gets frustrated with the Gallerys lack of social connection.
