This looks like a neat set, but I'm wondering if there will be a future release of foodstuffs to put in the truck.

I was thinking the same. Looks a bit "sterile" the way it is now. But really great work. Some guys would be proud to own such a vehicle in real life laugh

Some of the props from FG Fast Food  and FG Ice Cream Parlor would probably work well with it.  Also the stuff from the Hot Dog Cart in Fast Grab today.

  • I was wondering, in a non-deal breaking way, if there was a tow hook on the unshown end.

There is a tow hook and AC unit on the other side.

I would've bought  it if it had food. But the amount of time it takes me to load scenes with the food, do instancing  and make sure it is positioned properly against surfaces  is just too time consuming.

Can the stabalizing feet be retraced (or at least made invisible for towing? Also can the door and the window be closed?

Door and window can open/close with sliders in parameters, the rest you need to hide (with geometry editor is probably fastest)

  • Thanks Paintbox. It sounds like it can be made towable; so into the cart it goes

There are also a lot of caffee shops in the story with props that would work. For the ice cream though you'd need some fits exactly in the serving containers. I hope there is an add-on coming.

    Thank you, good to know.

now, is there a truck model that has a hitch ..and the hookup chains, etc ?

  • Food addons would be awesome! Like they can have stuff for tacos like rice, beef, peppers, sriracha, tempeh, and more they can think of

Or different ice blendeds for the drinks setup

  • maybe more like Cheech and Chong's lunchvan with edibles

LOL, my brother did that for about 10 years outside a bar down south. Made a living at it but once the truck began to go south the repairs were profit eating+ prohibitive so when the truck blew up so did his business for good.

In a game engine with physics it would be pretty easy to load up with items for sell, in DAZ Studio, not so easy.

    Add one of these:

or use a camera angle where you don't need one,

Ole Horse Trailer will give you a hitch ball and extra rear wheels (plus fender extensions) for Pick 'em up Truck, but that trailer would probably rip the bumper off. Teardrop Camper has a hitch that can be parented to vehicles. It was made for the old 1930's cars, but it is mostly hidden, anyway, so it will go with just about any vehicle.
