increased developer responsibility, as indicated in Change Log

"Undo items are no longer created when non-user properties are added to elements - non-user properties are expected to be managed by the developer"

So, this has the potential for much sadness. How will this be managed?

By developers doing the undo tracking, I assume - I imagine that without access to the plug-in code DS doesn't really know how it should handle the event. This applies, I think, only to plug-in developers, it isn't anything we have to worry directly about. Edit: I am told that this is not a functional chnage in that developers have always been responsible for this - what has chnaged is that DS is no longer adding its own copy of the data to the undo stack, consuming resources in the process.
