How to fit arm sleeve to Genesis model

Hi, I am new to Daz3d, just finished setup the program and import an OBJ file I created "arm sleeve".
See attachment
Now I am trying to fit the arm sleeve to the Genesis model's arm and lost myself. How can I fit that on to Genesis's arm like other genesis cloth?
(Instead of manipulating by dragging little by little)
Thanks!

Most people start out by buying clothes or using freebies on DAZ figures made for them
    These fit by loading
If you model your own clothes
You need to learn how to rig it
Is doable but not for newbies
After learning a bit more you can read tutes by people like Patience on the forum

The first requirement is that the sleeve, as imported, must line up with the figure, unmorphed and in the zero pose. It looks to me as if that isn't the case here - you either need to adjust the model in your modeller, or you need to use the traansform tools in DS to line it up, then hide everything else, export as OBJ, then import that OBJ using the same preset. Once you have a model that is lined up correctly you can go to Edit>Object>Transfer Utility.... Set Genesis as the Source and your imported OBJ as the Target. When you click Accept your sleeve should, more or less, fit to Genesis as you pose - there are a lot of adjustments you can make to improve it, but for now just go to File>Save as>Support Asset and save, setting your name and a product name in the options dialogue (those determine where the files go in the Data folder) and saving the preset for loading it to \People\Genesis\Clothing\Some folder.

Thank you wendy♥catz and Richard Haseltine very much. I have learned a lot for your posts. I practiced a lot with rigging.

Now I have created 2 bones for this arm sleeve. Poly grouped upper and lower sections to each. Weight brushed them also so the rotation looks more reasonable.

I have a new question. Please see attachment below, a diagram I made to clarify the issue.

Now the arm sleeve is under "Left forearm" parent of Genesis 2 model. When I move or rotate it follows, which is good. But the upper part of the arm sleeve only follows the forearm of the guy (not staying with should). How could I fix this?

In my head, what I want is "glue" the forearm on the forearm and "glue" the upper arm on the upper arm. So when I open the G2 model arm, it opens a straight arm sleeve, and when I 90 degree elbow its arm, the arm sleeve also does a 90 degree.

Any advise will be appreciated! Thank you!

Is it fitted to or just parented? If it's parented and you are posing it manually it should be parented to the shoulder bone, otherwise the hierarchy is wrong (the upper bones carry the lower with them, so the forearm pose moves the parented item and it is then in the wrong place to adjust to fit the upper arm). If you are using the Transfer Utility to give it the figure rig it should be parented to the figure or nothing, not to any bone at all, and then fitted to the figure

Dear Richard Haseltine, thank you for your advice. I did checked the obj was fitted. And what I did wrong was my rigging was wrong. I did re do the transfer utility and used the rigging from genesis to the arm sleeve and modified it from there. It went well. Also I tried parented it directly under shoulder bone after import immediately. It worked as a different approach.

Now I have a new question, when I bend the arm. The arm sleeve will stretch (as to fit the stretched arm surface, which is ok) but the edge, or should I say the width of arm sleeve is stretched also, which is not the case in reality. It's hard to tell from arm (due to change is so tiny), below, I will use a super wide belt for example.

    Please see below attached pictures.

As a belt, when I bend the Genesis figure, the belt will stretch its length, but not its width. In Daz Studio it stretched not only its width but also its width? We all know when we bend over, our belts should change its width so dramatically.

I want It to keep its width as I marked in the red bent rectangular, which is what I want to achieve, how may I get there? Thank you!

The base mesh is probably stretching, since the 3D "skin" can't slide, and since the belt is getting its behaviour from the figure it does the same. This has always been a problem with the more rigid parts of clothing (belts and buckles, buttons, and so on). Editing the weight map may help, so that the belt is constantly weighted across its width, but then you risk getting poke-through and having to create multiple correction morphs.
