Michael 4 support folder not found

I recently purchased some Michael 4 products, which I installed using DIM but now whenever I try to open M4 I get a message saying The "Michael 4" support folder could not be found.

I've searched the forum and came across a few threads, the most recent being http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/31320/ but I don't seem to be able to fix the problem. I have tried uninstalling all of the M4 products with DIM and reinstalling them but that has not sorted the problem.

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it!

Where is the Michael 4 base installed? Did you install all parts of it? The DAZ Studio files are extras, not the figure itself.

I have Daz set up to use the following file structure and DIM is set up to install to C:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library. I did uninstall all of the files through DIM and then had them re-installed hoping that if something was corrupt it would be replaced automatically but that doesn't seem to have made any difference

    You should have a C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Runtime Libraries\!DAZ\Michael 4 folder - do you?

Is it possible you installed M4 to both locations, once with DIM and once with a stand-alone installer?

Yes I think I may have done, I think I may have installed a copy before DIM came out.

    Try this:

    1) Temporarily remove the "Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ:Michael 4" folder from your non-DIM location -- move it somewhere else just in case you need to restore it.
    2) Go to the DIM location's "Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ" folder and run the DzCreateExPFiles-M4.bat. A black box will open up, a whole lot of stuff will scroll past, then it will close itself.
    3) Make sure that the icon you're clicking on to load M4 is the one installed by DIM.

Great I'll try that in the morning and let you know if it works. Thanks for the help ;)

I've checked through my directories and the DIM M4 is the only one installed on my computer. I've tried running DzCreateExPFiles-M4.bat and have also uninstalled all M4 products and then reinstallied them followed by re-running DzCreateExPFiles-M4.bat but the figure still wont load and tells me the same message about the support files :(
