So a friend of mine is at the Maryland State Fair today, and he took this (with a comment about expecting people to misread the ride's name).

I, of course, geek out over recognizing most of the components of the banner.

Edit to add - I have his permission to share this here. :)

That's cool! I actually remember someone posting a while back in the forums about amusement park ride designs that s/he made using DAZ 3D products. No idea who it was unfortunately, and it may have even been the old forum. But maybe this is that person's work.

Yes I remember that post Scott, and it was on this iteration of the forum, can't remember where or who though

There used to be a DAZ product sighting thread in the old forums, with plenty of these real world "DAZ uses" discoveries. The postee also recieved a nice bonus coupon. Always fun to spot.

That is cool. If it is the same person, that would be awesome. :)

Edit - I'm looking through the rest of his pictures from today to see if I can spot any others. I won't post them, 'cause most of them have his kid in them, but it might be nice confirmation if it is the same person.

Yes conformation would be good, because I am sure that DAZ 3D would love to see this, and it would be great to put a name to it.

Unfortunately, none of the rest of my friend's pictures showed any other rides or banners clearly enough for me to see if they were the same ones shown in the other thread.

Which is too bad, because it would have been awesome to have a clear link between the two.
