Alright, that all makes sense I think I'm sold on ATX and I can resign to spending a little more if needed that's fine. One thing I'm noticing though is that all the motherboards recommended to me thus far, the x570 TUF gaming plus wifi, MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4, and the ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 ATX AM4 Motherboard, all seem to have fewer USB slots than my current (ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8Z68-V LE) motherboard, which had 6. Am I setting my price point too low for what I was used to before, or is that just the way motherboards are now? I've pretty perpetually got at least 3 things plugged in (Wireless mouse, keyboard, either speakers or headset or a camera card reader, and of course occasionally a USB stick or external though I only plug that one in when I actually need to move something) I guess I could get a USB splitter if it really bothers me but it makes me wonder if I'm just being too conservative and aiming too low or something.

OK so based on reviews I think I found an ATX 570 at a decent cost with some pretty good reviews now. All parts I'm thinking of are here if anyone cares to take a look and ease my mind that:

    1. It'll all fit in the case and won't be a pain to install now that I've moved up to the ATX board.

    2. Nothing I've picked will fail to be compatible with anything else I've picked.

Thank you all very much for your help on this journey so far. I can't believe how patient everyone here is. You guys rock.
