Loose the Nipples...?!?!?!?

I have been doing quite a bit of rendering over the past several weeks and primarily using Genesis(1) and I'll be damned if I can't figure out how to flatten the nipples on the figure.

I know I am missing something but I feel like I have looked everywhere and tried everything to flatten out those erasers. I have been having to 'tame' them done in post work...what am I missing?

For V5, in the Shaping pane, Set Genesis > Torso > Nipples parameter to 0. (Didn't see any nipples on Basic Female, so not sure which variant of Genesis 1 you are looking at.)

It sounds like you are having a 'rogue' morph auto-loaded when you load Genesis - there have been a couple of 3rd party figures that do this. Have a look at what morphs are in use after you load Genesis from scratch (you may also want/need to show hidden properties).

Thank you for the 'tips'...hee heee

    @ Sean:
The "Nipple" settings are already at zero and the lowest setting possible is zero so that isn't it...

    @ Simon:
I revealed the hidden properties and didn't really see anything that is causing the nipples to be in the state they are in.
I was able to make them a little less 'Madonna-ish' by reducing the Nipple Depth, Nipple Diameter and Nipple Volume to -0.5, but they still have a 'puffy' look to them...better than the 'rockets they were, but not 'flat'.
I will have to keep snooping and see if I can find the setting that is causing this state of pixal'd excitement.

Maybe someone can tell me if there is a way to sort the shapes so that they appear in alphabetical order instead of the ridiculous order that they are in by default....They has to be 'some' type of logic behind the ordering of the shape and parameter 'dials/sliders'...hell if I can se it though.
I would love to be able to do a custom sort on them so that they are more logical.

Sloth, can you be specific as to which figure this is? The Genesis figure when set to female does not show nipples. You could possibly
go under the options for the active pane. Make sure you are in shaping and Zero out the shape. It should take you back to the androgynous Genesis figure.

Bah, thread title sounded so promising. As Simon says, there are some morphs out there which default to 1 and which have nipples - try zeroing the figure shape (Edit>Figure>Zero sub menu) and then in the Parameters pane click Used on the left and see if any morphs are listed.

Sorry to let you down Richard.

I will have to look into zeroing out the character to see if the tips go away completely.

...in the mean time can anyone tell me about the other 'question' I had...

    Hi,

what ever works is to deactivate the limits of the controls. So you have the chance even to go very far into the negative values.
Don't do too much -> surprising effects. :cheese:

In my case I used the YTJustin as a base character. But I found the pectorals too intense even at the default minimum (zero). So I deactivated the limits and was satisfied with a value of -0.6

    Hope, that helps.

    Andy

The morphs are, or should be, listed in alphabetical order within their groups - but even if you have the All group selected on the left of the pane they do stay in their groups, with no cue to the group boundaries in the morph list. I don't like this, but given the length of the list for most people adding a separator would probably add at least a couple of extra screens to scroll through.

I have noticed that some characters come with nipples as part of the character morph, not a separate item and so no, they don't show up as a separate morph. If one of the other reducing morphs doesn't address the problem, it could be solved by making a reducing morph for the offending character.

Parameters -> Actor -> Upper Body -> Torso -> Universal
