I've been having an ongoing issue with the DS General Release while the DS Beta works fine. It started in DS 4.12 and is happening with 4.14 too. It does not load to the full screen. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, renaming the C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4 directory, and installing again. What happens is that it starts to load, goes through the splash screen, then the main screen never comes up. DS shows in the task tray as being open, but when you click on it, nothing happens. When you hover over it in the task tray, the Windows screen preview comes on but all it shows is a white screen preview which clicking on never does anything--other than the x that will close DS. As the DS Beta is working fine on my system, I just limped along, hoping a new version would fix whatever is wrong with it, but it still isn't working. I'm on Windows 10, 64Bit. I've tried various nVidia drivers, currently on 456.71 Studio driver, Video card is a RTX 2080, Processor i9-9900k. I can't find anything in the Daz Log or my computer logs to point to the problem. I think it may be a setting is messed up since the Beta works fine but can't figure it out. This is the last part of the Daz log:

Try removing the layout.dsx file from the folder with the log,
%AppData%/daz 3d/studio4/
and see if it then launches. if not try also removing the menus, actions, customactions, and toolbars.dsx files. It's possible that a bad exit (especially if DS was closed from task manager while there was still CPU activity) may have corrupted the files. If you have to remove customactions.dsx you will lose any changed shortcuts or entries in the Scripts menu, so I'd try leaving that in place until the last resort.
It didn't work to delete those files. I even tried renaming the entire %AppData%/daz 3d/studio4/ folder after uninstalling DS. I then reinstalled DS but still had the same issue. Finally, I uninstalled DS again. I then went in the registry, did a search for DAZ. I ended up deleting the HKU\Software\DAZ\Studio4 key and everything beneath it, leaving the PublicBuild key alone (after exporting the key just in case). I then reinstalled DS and that seems to have fixed it as it rebuilt the key and I was able to open DS again. Unfortunately, I lost all my customizations but I can live with that to have it functioning again.
Thanks for your help!
