Custom Skins

Does anyone have a tutorial on how to create custom skins, make real looking texture, or a way to generate real skins? I want to create my own skins, but it seems very hard, and the only video I saw meant buying skins from a website and putting them on the current skin.

    This only works on female characters. How to I use it for male characters?

    There are some "merchant resource" skins available for purchase. It is better to use those as a base or a solid painted "real skin tone" type starter base for making new skins with. We are not allowed to redistribute the skins that come with the figures ;-)

    And then yes, it is a fair amount of work to make one's own skins. It is quite common for people to snag several characters when they come on sale just to use their skins on other morphed figures.

    And then one either paints on them using programs such as Photoshop, or a 3D paint program, etc., details such as freckles and so forth. One can also make good use of "properly obtained, legally okay to use" photo images to add photo-realistic details to the skins. {one does NOT simply use photos found on the internet, people have a legal rights to their own faces for example}. The most popular place seems to be 3d dot sk. Sometimes their photographers also sell sets over at places such as ArtStation. They do have some free samples on their main website which are great to learn with.

    Thank you I was going to buy the skin builder just was wondering how to use it with male characters? But the skin tones are great I really appreicate those.

    I don't have skin builder. Some that do claim one can switch uvs to use it on the males. {that might require another product}
