DAZ Not Rendering Eyes! Blank, white--Reoccurring problem!

I am having a reoccurring problem that is really getting old. I set up and render a scene just fine, but later when I load the file again and go to render it (regular DAZ render, nothing fancy), the whole eyes turn out blank and white. Why is this happening and how can I keep it from reoccurring over and over? So tired of "fixing" it!

I also use ProjectEYEris on most of my figures, but I'm pretty sure I had this problem before I started using that, too. But even if I reapply the shaders, the problem doesn't fix itself until I re-apply an entire (regular) eye present.

Are there any error messages? Go to Help>Troubleshooting>View Log just after a bad render and look at the very end of the file.

It happens to me sometimes too,

I also use ProjectEYEris but I don't remember if I have the bug with it only.

When it happens, I quit Daz, reload the file, start the rendering and it works just fine.
Maybe a problem of ressource leaks or whatever over time.

This is a "frequent" problem with shaders.
It can happen with any shader, and this is the fault to nobody, or nothing.
Roughly speaking, it is just that sometimes when 3Delight "prepares" the shaders, it just miss a few things, or reuse some older things.
It seems to happen more often when you have plenty of applications in parallel.
Sometimes restarting DS is enough to "force" 3Delight to "re-evaluate" the shaders, sometimes the computer must be restarted. I already read some other users having the same issue as you have (even with AoA), I already had them myself.

With 3rd party shaders you will find that they need to have their definition (.DSE) and shader (.SDL) files installed into the core of the program, this doesn't sound like one of those, which makes me think ShaderMixer/ShaderBuilder.

If this is the case then it means the temp.SDL files generated at render time are becoming corrupted, usually from overwriting due to changes being made, it doesn't happen all of the time, but it does happen.

Closing DS causes all temp files to be deleted and is usually the best way to deal with this for most people, when you restart DS and load your scene it has to create a fresh set of shader files rather than overwriting the old ones.
